Busy Summer
It has been a busy summer so far and it's not over yet. It was realy nice getting to go to KC for Christy's wedding and Scott's baptism. I always love going back to KC and getting to see so many friends. On the way over to KC, I dropped the kids off at my parents in Mississippi and then flew out there to KC then back to Detroit to get home. I just spent this weekend getting the kids back and then this weekend I am officiating Dawn's cousin's wedding. Then next month I get the honor to officiate over Amy's wedding. All of this and I'm still in the first summer as a real estate agent. It's been a tough juggling act, but I'm getting it. I'm really very thankful for all the love that we share with all of our friends from back in our KC days. It was truly a God thing that brought us there during that season of our lives. I love being a part of each of your lives. Thanks

We love having you at our wedding! We've received many compliments--some from people who don't go to church or have a relationship with Christ, as best I know, about that minister having a gift (which you do) and doing a fantastic job in our ceremony. They said they really listened to what you had to say. We say praise the Lord to that! You planted seeds!
I've tried to explain to Matt (and many others) what a special group we had at St. Paul's. If I could go back in time for a day...I'd want to go back then! I learned so much about being a follower of Christ during my time in the youth group. I count my St. Paul's friends (or as you say your KC friends :) and that time in my life as a great blessing! God is good all the time!
I would say there are many of us who treasure your friendship, Scott & Dawn! It was good to see you...bring Dawn next time!!!!!
Thank you for your kind words you said to me while we were in car...you are loved and missed here in KC

Even though I'm not in KC...I still miss you. And I have to agree with Christy-that was such a special time and special people. I've never seen another youth group like that one!
